It’s a great attraction for the little ones, with colorful decor and a pirate theme. Attractions at this water park include kid-friendly pools and a pirate-themed splash playground with geysers and water cannons. Guests can also lie back and relax on the 650-foot lazy river, or enjoy a more thrilling ride on one of the huge waterslides.
Jewel Lagoon Water Park, Jamaica

If you’re looking for something you can all enjoy together, there’s a family raft ride that is suitable for most ages, as well as a lazy river with an adorable rock grotto and amazing waterfalls.
Other attractions include a zero-entry beach lagoon, two splash-down pools, a variety of kids’ slides, a splash zone, a spacious oceanfront sundeck, a bar and grill where you can grab a snack or drink, a snow cone hut, and even a stage with music every single day!
Day passes give you access between 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Kool Runnings Water Park, Jamaica
With both water and land attractions, Kool Runnings Adventure Park is a fun day out for the whole family and another of the best water parks in Jamaica.
Located in Negril, the park has 9 waterslides, including the signature Jamaica Bobsled, a tribute to the famous Jamaican Olympic bobsled team. You can ride through this in a single tube or with up to three people in a triple tube.
There’s also an adventure zone with both on-land and water-based activities, including a human gyroscope that simulates an outer space experience, go-kart racing, a kayaking adventure, paintballing, laser combat, and bamboo rafting.
If you get hungry, there are plenty of options at Kool Runnings, including the “Dash-een” restaurant which serves up fast food, grill items, and pizzas; a juice bar; a grill; and a sports bar.
Water Park at Memories Splash Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Another popular vacation spot for families is the Dominican Republic. Located at an all-inclusive resort just a short walk from beautiful Bavaro Beach, the Water Park at Memories Splash Punta Cana is perfect for those looking to enjoy adventures every day of their getaway.
If you’re a guest at this resort, you get unlimited access to the water park. But if not there’s no need to worry. This park isn’t reserved exclusively for resort guests, so day passes are available.
Activities at Splash Punta Cana include seven slides, a wave pool, splash pads and spray grounds for the little ones, and a selection of refreshing pools to take a dip in. No alcohol is allowed at the park, but you can enjoy an alcohol-free beverage from the on-site bar as you relax by the pool.
CocoLand Water Park, St. Lucia
The all-inclusive Coconut Bay resort on scenic St. Lucia has two options: Harmony, an adults-only oasis, and Splash, perfect for families. Splash has great activities for kids, including an animal sanctuary, kite surfing, paintball, and the CocolLand Water Park.
The Water Playground is a splash pad with spilling buckets, water cannons, and fountains that is perfect for toddlers and younger children. For the more adventurous, the Coconut Coaster is a long slide with twists and turns, ending with a plunge into the pool. CocoLand’s lazy river offers relaxing fun for both children and adults.
You can find many excellent spots to chill in the sun or shade around CocoLand’s pools, grassy areas, and the water playground. Then, for a thrilling ride, shoot down the enclosed Coconut Cannon, the fastest slide in the park.
Five Islands Water & Amusement Park, Trinidad & Tobago
Trinidad & Tobago features one of the best Caribbean water parks on Chagville Beach. This is where you can find Five Islands Water & Amusement Park.
With a huge range of attractions, Five Islands caters to visitors of all ages. Pirate’s Bay is a hit with younger kids, boasting more than 13 slides, sprays, and splash pads. If your kids are a little older (standing at a height of over 48 inches), The Hurricane Terrain has exciting waterslides. Mokoland features slides upwards of 50 feet tall.
Not a fan of slides or heights? Worry not! Gundee Beach offers two interconnected wave pools, a lazy river, and a swim-up bar for the adults. There are also fun land attractions in the amusement park area, including go-kart racing, paintball, roller skating, and a beach bar.
Splash Island Water Park, St. Lucia
Situated on Reduit Beach on the northwest coast of St. Lucia, Splash Island Water Park is a little different from most of the others on this list. Instead of man-made pools, towering slides, and attractions like lazy rivers and whirlpools, Splash Island is located in the sea!
Made of a course of inflatables, Splash Island is just that: an island floating atop the water with fun attractions and activities. Open since August 2015, Splash Island is the Caribbean’s first open-water sports park. The floating obstacle course features some great attractions including slides, a climbing wall, a flip, water volleyball, hurdles, a swing, monkey bars, a trampoline, and a double rocker.
Even though it is located on the open water, safety is still a top priority at this park. It is well-staffed with lifeguards, and everyone using the park must wear a life vest at all times. The park is open to guests ages 6 and over.
Aqua Nick, Dominican Republic
Aqua Nick Punta Cana, located in the all-inclusive Karisma hotel, is a unique water park that combines Nickelodeon themes with the Caribbean’s natural beauty. If your kids love Nickolodeon, they won’t want to miss the Mass Sliming or poolside Slime Time photo opportunities!
After this, they can hop in the pool to wash off the slime or jump on a waterslide, play in the splash pad or spray grounds, or relax on the lazy river. Once they’ve dried off, they can head next door to find Plaza Orange entertainment, Character Central, and Club Nick’s free play clubhouse and artist studio.
Aquaventure at The Royal at Atlantis, Bahamas
One of the best Caribbean water parks close to the U.S. is at the Atlantis mega-resort in The Bahamas. The 141-acre Aquaventure boasts a huge range of pools and water rides that you can spend the whole day exploring.
With a tropical environment and plenty to see and do, Aquaventure features an impressive 20 swimming areas, 11 swimming pools, high-speed water slides, a mile-long river ride, a kid’s water-play fort, and much more.
Activities for younger children include the Splasher’s Mayan-themed kids’ pool and slides, where they can play in a safe environment without any rambunctious teens. For older kids, teens, and adults, there’s a great range of exhilarating attractions including The Leap of Faith, The Challenger, and The Abyss.

Ocean World, Dominican Republic
Another great water park in the family-friendly destination of the Dominican Republic is Ocean World. Combining the thrill of a water park with the allure of the Caribbean’s beautiful natural surroundings, Ocean World is an interactive marine park where you can get close to nature.
While this water park has regular attractions such as water slides, guests can experience some truly unique things such as swimming with dolphins or enjoying a sea lion or shark encounter. Different add-ons include a “Dolphin Trainer for a day” experience, where you can have hands-on time and learn about these majestic animals all day.
