Sandals Grenada
Before visiting Sandals Grenada we had already heard such great things about the resort. When we arrived we were happy to be quickly lead into a shuttle and on the resort within 15 minutes of getting our luggage.
The resort is spread out making it feel secluded in some areas and more lively and busy in others. There are a variety of accommodations perfect for relaxing like the swim-up suite we stayed in or the many suites with private pools.
The resort is nestled on the Pink Gin Beach, offering breathtaking ocean views and a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The beach was not very busy at all and it was easy to get lounge chairs. The beach is surrounded by a group of rocks which made for a great place to go snorkeling.
For the pools, there is one that is very quiet for a more chill day and another with a swim-up bar that has more entertainment throughout the day. It is harder to get a chair at the large pool than anywhere else on the property.
The food was an absolute highlight, with ten restaurants offering everything from Caribbean flavors to gourmet French cuisine. We loved Spices more than we did at other Sandals Resort because of the friendly chefs who would make different dishes to order each morning and for lunch as well. We loved Soy for dinner and loved being able to order a variety of appetizers and sushi rolls to try.
The warm and friendly staff made us feel like royalty, always going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian
Sandals Grande St. Lucian felt like stepping into a postcard. The long stretch of beach, framed by lush mountains and clear turquoise waters, created the perfect backdrop for our getaway. From the overwater bungalows to the swim-up suites, this resort made for an amazing all-inclusive experience.
What stood out the most was the vibrant atmosphere. Whether we were sipping cocktails at the swim-up bar, enjoying live entertainment, or kayaking along the calm bay waters, there was always something to do. Even motorized water sports like water skiing and tubing are included! I was suprised so few people took advantage of this, but I went wake boarding everyday.
If you wanted a more social environment the main pool and the beach area close by were perfect. Going either direction from there would bring you more quiet and seclusion.
The variety of dining options kept things exciting, with fresh seafood, Asian fusion, and gourmet Italian cuisine. We loved the romantic Gordon’s Pier Restaurant, Bombay Club and of course, Soy Sushi.
Additionally, you can always go to one of the other Sandals Resorts nearby, but honestly, I think Sandals Grande St Lucian is the best Sandals Resort in Saint Lucia so I wouldn’t recommend it.
For an excursion, you need to go to see the Pitons which is included in the catamaran tours that take you to bath in the sulfuric mud baths and to the volcano. There are a few options to choose from based on your own preferences.
As if Sandals Grande St Lucian wasn’t already one of the best Sandals Resorts, they will be making renovations thoughout the resort for the next couple of years which will make it even more beautiful.

Sandals Dunn’s River
Sandals Dunn’s River is the newest Sandals Resort in Jamaica and our personal favorite in Jamaica. The resort was purchased and the entire resort was reimagined. This included new pools, spas, rondoval suites and new restauarants. To my knowledge only one main building remains. The newly renovated property seamlessly blends modern luxury with the island’s rich culture, offering incredible culinary experiences, spacious accommodations, and thrilling water sports.
We noticed elevated service on resorts and the food surpassed our expectations. We were pleasantly suprised that the Italian restaurant was managed by an Italian. The Greek restaurant had amazing Lamb chops and Zuka had unique flavors inspired by Latin American cuisine.
This resort also has the best variety of specialty cocktail menus at the different bars with the highlight being the Rum Club where there are dozens of rums to taste and cocktails as well as a delicious menu of small local bites.
One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to so many exciting excursions. Within a 30 minute drive you can access Dunn’s River Falls, the Blue Hole, river tubing, ziplining and may other options.

Sandals Saint Vincent
Sandals Saint Vincent is the newest Sandals Resort and it really stands out from all the others.From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the pristine natural beauty of this lesser-known Caribbean island. The resort is very large and spread out and with the surrounding lush rainforest, mountains and crystal-clear waters it creates an intimate and exclusive atmosphere.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking private beach—secluded and perfect for long, romantic walks. All the accommodations are luxurious and spacious especially the different villa options.
Diningis a delight, with fresh seafood and Caribbean flavors highlighting the island’s culinary excellence. We loved Scrimshaw with the Conch menu, Broiled Spiny Lobster, and fried snapper. For lunch we appriciated the build your own salad option and Parisol with the small bites for lunch. Buccan provides an amazing unique experience with local food served family style. I could go on, but overall the food was amazing.
We loved the infinity pools that were right on the beach and the main pool made for a more lively bar with the swim up bar.
In my opinion this is the best Sandals Resort, but some guest find it too quiet or spread out, while I can’t wait to go back!

Sandals South Coast
Sandals South Coast is a favorite among Sandals’ fans. Nestled along a two-mile stretch of Jamaica’s unspoiled southern coastline, this resort feels like an escape to paradise. A night time stroll along the beach is different here with peace and even stargazing.
One of the best aspects of Sandals South Coast is its unique design. The entire resort is set along the shoreline, meaning every room offers ocean views. Whether we were lounging in the overwater bar, taking a dip in one of the largest pools in the Caribbean, or indulging in gourmet dining at one of the nine restaurants, every moment felt curated for romance and relaxation.
If you like to lounge by the pool, this is an excellent option. There are three large pools each with its own vibe. If you want a more lively, social pool check out the main pool with other pools more relaxed and quiet. The beach is long, allowing you to find seclusion with no rush to reserve chairs.
Most of the rooms have been refubished in the last few rooms, many having the iconic Tranquility Soaking Tubs on the patio. Since we have visited they have announced changes to the bars and restaurants including a Rum bar, Blum Coffee serving Blue Mountain Coffee and a Butches Steak House.

Sandals Royal Plantation is a truly special retreat for those who appreciate personalized luxury and an intimate, boutique atmosphere. This is the smallest Sandals Resort and features all-butler, all-suite accommodations.
Since there are so few rooms and everyone has a butler the service is unbeatabel. Not only do you have a butler, but the beach has amazing drink service as well. We would go to the beach each morning knowing our butler would be checking in on us for lunch and thoughout the day. Additionally the beach bar service was always reliable.
There are 5 restaurants on site, but for more variety you can go to Sandals Ochi nearby for access to more dining options, larger pools and more entertainment.
Of all Sandals Resorts, this one gets the most people returning guests, so it has plenty of fans.

Sandals Royal Barbados is one of the newer Sandals Resorts with a more ultra-modern design and all-suite accommodations. It features infinity pools, a rooftop lounge, a bowling alley and much more all set against the backdrop of the stunning Caribbean Sea.
Sandals Royal Barbados was build next to the existing Sandals Barbados in 2017. Many of the buildings feature swim up suites on the bottom level and club lever rooms with balconies on the rooms above.
This resort is next door to Sandals Barbados and it feels like it is the same resort. You have access to over 20 restaurant and bar options, multiple pools and a beautiful beach with white sand and clear water.

Sandals Grande Antigua is another Sandals Resort with one of the best beaches with calm, crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
The variety of dining options made each meal a delight, from the fresh seafood at Barefoot by the Sea to the elegant French cuisine at Baccarat. We loved the large pool here since it was both relaxing but had a some entertainment as well. We noticed smaller pools as well with more quiet atmospheres.
What stood out to us at Sandals Grande Antigua, beyond the beach, was the friendly staff and service they provided. The entertainment team did a great job, especially with the night time entertainment.

Sandals Royal Curaçao offers a unique Caribbean experience with Dutch-inspired charm. The resort was purchased by Sandals and renovated in June 2022 and since then has become a crowd pleaser. I’ve asked guests who have visited several Sandals Resort which one is thier favorite and many respons Sandals Royal Curcao. The infinity pools overlooking the Caribbean Sea is iconic and the food is elevated above older Sandals Resorts.
One of the most unique aspects of this resort was the ability to explore Curaçao’s vibrant culture through curated excursions and island experiences.
The resort has several large beautiful pools and modern accomodations. The beach is not your typical Caribbean beach, but a separated section of an inlet.

Sandals Royal Caribbean
We put this in the middle based on overall feedback, but it is another one of our favorites. Sandals Royal Caribbean is a more relaxed resort that has been heavily renovated over the last few years, providing new accommodations. The resort’s private offshore island was a game-changer—just a quick boat ride away, it featured an exclusive beach, Thai restaurant, and luxurious overwater bungalows.
The resort is just minutes away from the Montego Bay airport making arriving very convinient. Even the most affordable luxury rooms are modern and comfortable, feeling more like the Club rooms at some of the Sandals Resorts.
The beach is beautiful and has recently been extended with the completion of a new building with Skypools and private Plunge pools as well.
We enjoyed the Thai restaurant and Indian restaurant, each with servers encouraging us to try more menu items then we had planned.
While staying at Sandals Royal Caribbean you can visit Sandals Montego Bay for additional restaurants, a longer beach and more lively pools.

Sandals Regency La Toc
Sandals Regency La Toc is set on a stunning crescent-shaped beach with breathtaking ocean views, this resort offered both seclusion and excitement. The lush, tropical surroundings and cliffside villas created an ultra-romantic atmosphere.
This is the largest Sandals in Saint Lucia and feels like two resorts in one. There is the sunset bluffs area which is set on the cliffs above the rest of the resorts and the area near the beach. Just this year additional Rondoval suites were built near the back of the resort, adding to the variety of accommodations.
We loved the beach for the same reason many guest do not like it, the current. This resort regulary has waves making it harder to relax in and hard for anyone with mobility issues. Additionally it is not uncommon for water sports to be unavailable.
One of the best aspects of La Toc was the three-tiered pool with cascading waterfalls and a swim-up bar. Whether we were sipping cocktails poolside, enjoying a candlelit dinner at Armando’s, or taking in the spectacular sunset from the soaking tub on our private balcony, every moment felt like a dream.

Sandals Montego Bay
Sandals Montego Bay is the original Sandals resort, and it continues as a favorite amonst Sandals guests. There are guests that have been returning year after year for 30 years!
The resort underwent a major renovation in 2020 and since then has refreshed almost all the resort rooms over the last few years. The resort is very close to the airport, so you will get here quickly and also hear jet noise. For us, we stopped noticing after the first day.
The resort has a lively yet romantic atmosphere. Whether we were sipping cocktails at the beachfront bar, enjoying gourmet meals at one of the 12 restaurants, or dancing the night away to live music, there was always something to do. The new Olianders restaurant is a great example of the inovative cuisine being added throughout Sandals Resorts.
The newly renovated rooms and swim-up suites added a fresh, modern touch, making it one of the most exciting Sandals properties we’ve visited.

Sandals Negril is the ultimate beachfront paradise, set on the famous Seven Mile Beach in Jamaica. From the moment we stepped onto the soft, powdery sand, we knew this was the perfect place for a laid-back, yet luxurious, escape. The stunning sunsets over the turquoise waters created a picture-perfect setting every evening.
What we loved most about Sandals Negril was the relaxed vibe combined with modern luxury. Whether we were lounging in a beachfront swim-up suite, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, or enjoying a candlelit dinner under the stars, every moment felt effortlessly romantic.
We loved enjoying breakfast with out feet in the sand, getting coffee at Crema and have dinner at the new Brava Restaurant.
Since the resort is laid out accross the beach, most rooms are beachfront and the new skypool suites add even more luxurious options that really transformed our experience.

The highlight of our stay was the private offshore island, offering an exclusive escape with a serene beach, overwater hammocks, and a stylish beach club and exploring the island.
Sandals Royal Bahamian is the best Sandals Resort for people looking for something close to the US. Guest from the east coast can be there in just an hour or two. Because of this, the average stay is closer to 4 nights instead of the typical 5-7 nights at other resorts.
This is also the closest to a “party resort” as it gets for a Sandals Resort. Each day there is entertainment and fun at the West Bay pool with the swim up bar.
Dining at Sandals Royal Bahamian was an absolute treat, with gourmet options ranging from authentic French cuisine to fresh seafood with oceanfront views. Whether we were unwinding at the opulent Red Lane Spa, enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner, or sipping cocktails by the swim-up bar, every moment here felt elegant and indulgent.

Sandals Halcyon Beach is a true oasis for couples seeking a peaceful and intimate retreat. The resort’s lush gardens, swaying palm trees, and beachfront location create a tranquil and romantic ambiance. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed, as the resort’s laid-back vibe encouraged us to slow down and enjoy the stunning surroundings.
One of our favorite aspects of Sandals Halcyon Beach was the cozy, boutique feel. The low-rise buildings blended beautifully into the landscape, and the quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place for long beach walks and sunset cocktails.
We loved the pool here. It is smaller than at other Sandals Resorts but with the entertainment team it made it easy to make friends and be social with everyone in the area. Within a few days people became familiar and would be calling me over for a game of volleyball or other activity.
The dining experience was also impressive, with six gourmet restaurants serving fresh seafood, Caribbean flavors, and international cuisine. Whether we were lounging by the pool, indulging in a couple’s massage, or simply enjoying the soft white sand beach, this resort felt like a private sanctuary.
One key benefit to Sandals Halcyon is you can visit the other Sandals Resorts in St Lucia and they are about 20 minutes in either direction.

Sandals Barbados offers the perfect blend of luxury, excitement, and relaxation. The energy at this resort is contagious, with lively pools, gourmet dining, and endless activities to keep us entertained.
One of the highlights to the resort is the beach with soft white sand and crystal clear water. The only issue is getting chairs at the beach so we would get chairs at the pool just feel from the sand.
With 11 world-class restaurants, including Butch’s Steak & Seafood and Bombay Club, we indulged in some great meals and were still able to go to Sandals Royal Barbados next door for even more variety. The resort’s stunning lagoon-style pools and tropical gardens added to the charm, making it feel like a paradise within paradise.
