We love Virgin Voyages and we love getting a great deal, so when we can get the two together, it makes us very happy.
Virgin Voyages is not the cheapest cruise brand, but the good news is they are almost always running deals.
Regular Promotions
Since they started sailing, Virgin Voyages has always had promotions going on. As I write this all cruises are 20% off, last week it was 25% other times I have seen deeper discounts on certain cruises. Either way, check the Virgin Voyages website to see what deals are available.
Exclusive Travel Agent Deals
As a travel agent specializing in Virgin Voyages we can give an extra $100 sailors loot for select sailings, so do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Free Bar Tab Promotions
One of the most popular promotions Virgin Voyages runs is for a free bar tab. It is fairly normal for them to off $300 in bar tab for bookings, giving you a good budget to go toward your drinks!
Choosing More Affordable Sailings
If you are looking for a good price on a cruise, you can find some great prices with Virgin Voyages.
My favorite is looking for cruises that are one-way, meaning they leave one port and end at another. These are great cruise itineraries and are more affordable since they are less popular.
For example, cruising from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and ending in Miami is much less expensive than a cruise leaving and returning to Miami. There are also repositioning cruises moving from the Caribbean to Europe and vice versa. Maybe one day I will be brave enough to take one of these cruises without worrying about sea sickness.
Cruising the Shoulder Seasons
The price of cruises on Virgin Voyages drops during the off-peak or “shoulder” seasons. For example, Caribbean cruises may be cheaper during the hurricane season (June to November). Our favorite time to cruise the Caribbean is after New Year’s and before spring break.
